The Sultanate of Oman's total production of crude oil and condensates rose by 2.7% to 27,431,900 barrels by the end of March 2011 against 26,702,700 barrels. The average daily production of the Sultanate's crude oil and condensates stood at 884,900 barrels by the end of March 2011 against 861,400 barrels during the same period in 2010. The bulletin said that the average price of Oman Crude oil at the end of March 2011 stood at US$ 92.51 per barrel against US$ 77.04 per barrel during the same period in 2010. The Sultanate's production of natural gas during the first quarter of the current year stood at 2884,600 million Cubic Feet (MCF) against 2844 MCF during the same period in 2010, constituting a slight increase by 1.4%. The average of the Sultanate production of natural gas rose from 91,700 MCF in March 2010 to 93,100 MCF in March 2011.
