His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received this evening at Al Bateen Palace members of the executive management at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), who were accompanied by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and CEO of the ADNOC Group.
Sheikh Mohamed exchanged Ramadan greetings with the ADNOC executives and said that the UAE, under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will continue to develop the energy sectors, including the oil and gas sector, as a key component for the comprehensive development and a contributor to the national economy.
He emphasised the need to instill the concepts of development and innovation and to improve the company's capabilities, performance and competitive edge to guarantee success and to maintain the country's high position among the world's leaders in oil and gas.
He said ADNOC remains to be a major contributor to the national economy and to comprehensive development drive and expressed the hope that the company will continue its focus on innovation and excellence to maintain its competitive abilities.
"The successes and achievements made by ADNOC throughout the past four decades provide a huge incentive to continue investing in building and developing national human resources and to encourage the young talents to assume leading roles in this vital sector," he said.
he also stressed the importance of building meaningful partnership to attract investments and to transfer technical expertise and advanced technology in the oil and gas industry to maximise revenues and profitability in exploration, development and production and to add values to the supply operations.
He expressed confidence in ADNOC's ability to usher in a promising future that will enhance UAE's prominent position in the energy sector and maintain the company's reputation and lead.
The executive management members thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his support and directives which play a major role in the company's progress.
