The price of Kuwaiti oil barrel rose 66 cents reaching USD 47.53 on Wednesday, compared to USD 46.87 per barrel on Tuesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday.
Meanwhile, in international markets, oil prices went up more than 2% Wednesday because of unexpected substantial decline in the US crude stocks, where US Energy Information Administration said crude inventories fell by 5.2 million barrels in the week ending October 14, according to (KUNA) news agency.
Brent blend crude oil rose 66 cents upon settlement to reach USD 52.67 pb, while West Texas crude went up 1.31 cents reaching USD 51.60 pb.
