Price of Kuwait's crude oil rose USD 0.17 to USD 53.77 per barrel on Friday as compared to USD 53.60 pb in Thursday's trades, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Saturday.
In international markets, prices of the crude forward deals dropped, on Friday, due to jitters emanating from prospected shortage of supplies from troubled Libya and Iraq, as well as hike of the US dollar rate amid speculations the interest rate in the US would be increased.
Meanwhile, the Brent crude prices for forward deals dropped USD 0.75 to USD 59.73 pb. The West Texas crude also fell USD 1.15, reaching USD 49.61 pb.
