The price of Kuwaiti oil went up 18 cents, reaching USD 104.19 per barrel in Friday's trading, compared to USD 104.01 pb the day before, according to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC). Brent blend prices inched up due to the ongoing unrest in both Ukraine and Libya. As for the north African country, which is a major oil supplier, officials had said that protesters there forced the closure of two oil fields. In the London Stock Exchange, the price of Brent rose 66 cents (0.61 percent) to USD 109.75 pb while US Light went up 52 cents (0.51 percent) to USD 102.02 pb at the NY Stock Exchange.
