The price of Kuwaiti oil went up 17 cents to USD 43.91 per barrel Wednesday as oppose to USD 43.74 the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday.
The price of oil continued on an upward trend Wednesday, reaching records unwitnessed within the last five weeks. The increase was attributed to the decrease of fuel and crude supplies in the US, according to (KUNA) news agency.
The future contracts of crude oil for September delivery was up 0.52 percent to reach on USD 46.82 per barrel, a similar case with the Brent mix contracts for October which went up 1.12 percent to hit USD 49.78 per barrel.
