The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went down by USD 0.19 to USD 99.51 per barrel (pb) on Monday against USD 99.70 pb on Friday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Tuesday.
The US crude September delivery was traded at the New York bourse, Monday, at USD 93.44 pb while the Brent crude stood at USD 101.11 pb.
The global oil markets are affected by the US dollar, the crude currency, against major currencies as well as with the geopolitical developments, particularly in the resources-rich Middle East region and Ukraine.
