The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has announced the new prices for liquefied gas (propane and butane) for July.
Propane will be sold at USD 295 for a metric ton, USD 35 lower than June, the KPC said in an exclusive statement to KUNA on Wednesday. A metric ton of butane will be sold for USD 310, marking a fall of USD 55 compared to June prices.
The prices of the two products are affected by oil prices on the world markets, and the exchange rate of the US dollar, in addition to geopolitical factors, natural disasters, and economic mayhems.
