Crude oil opened the last day of the trading week higher on the New York Mercantile Exchange. After settling at $95.69 per barrel Thursday, crude oil opened Friday's session at $96.03. Henry Hub natural gas opened at $4.402 per million British thermal units after settling at $4.378 the previous day. Home heating oil opened up Friday at $3.0946 a gallon, up from the settlement price of $3.0846. Gasoline started the session at $3.1239 a gallon, off from Thursday's settlement of $3.1248. At the pump, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline Friday was $3.667, up from Thursday's price of $3.655.
