A delegation from the World Bank on Thursday paid a field visit to the project of Terminal 2 at Cairo airport, which is planned to host some 7.5 million passengers annually.
Chairman of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation Mahmoud Essmat received the WB delegation.
They discussed aspects of cooperation and what has been achieved according to a timetable to establish the Terminal 2.
Terminal 2 only accommodated 3.5 million passengers before it was closed for renovation in April 2010.
It is set to be open to flights in 2015.
