World Bank's Senior Vice President Kyle Peters, currently visiting Cairo, stressed that the WB is adamant to continue cooperating with Egypt.
During a meeting on Thursday with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Peters lauded the government efforts to encourage investments and realize economic reforms while taking into consideration social dimensions.
The bank is keen on backing the government's development plan, he added.
Meanwhile, Ismail lauded Egypt-World Bank cooperation in funding several projects in the fields of health, population and sanitation, voicing hope for furthering cooperation.
The premier voiced optimism about the national economic growth rate.
He added that the government will proceed with the giant natural gas exploration projects in the Mediterranean Sea.
