The exchange rate of the US dollar continued to decline against the Egyptian pound in major banks since the International Monetary Fund announced its approval on a $12 billion loan and delivering the first installment of $2.75 billion.
According to morning transactions, the US dollar recorded EGP 15.3 for buying and EGP 15.8 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt against EGP 15.35 for buying and EGP 15.85 for selling.
In Banque Misr today, it hit EGP 15.32 for buying and EGP 15.85 for selling versus yesterday’s EGP 15.35 for selling and EGP 15.91 for buying.
It rose 35 piasters at the Commercial International Bank to be EGP 15.35 for buying and EGP 15.75 for selling against EGP 15 for buying and EGP 15.95 for selling on Sunday.
