Chief Executive Officer and Director of National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) Abdul Razak Al Qassim has received here a delegation from Bahrain Society for Training & Development (BSTD), led by its Honorary President Ebrahim Al Doseeri, Board Member Ahmed Mahmood Attiya and BSTD Advisors Ahmed Al Banna, Abdul Elah Al Qassimi and Mariam Janahi.
The delegation granted Al Qassim the honorary membership in recognition of his key role in the field of human resources development and promoting the Bahraini human element through continuous support.
Al Qassim said that the human element is the foundation of human development and the basis of progress in all countries, adding that focusing on it is a rewarding investment for Bahrain and its institutions.
BSTD’s future plans were reviewed, especially the landmark stride currently undertaken through the establishment of a permanent headquarters, which is in its last stages. BSTD headquarters will be a national milestone for human resources development under the leadership’s umbrella, focusing on the human element and intellectual capital.
Al Doseeri affirmed that this hounoring came as a result of Al Qassim’s leading role in the human resources development fields and constant support for BSTD’s activities and programmes that serve the interest of the Bahraini youth.
Al Qassim expressed sincere thanks to BSTD for granting him the honorary membership and the efforts exerted to honour Bahrain in international forums.
