H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, has commended cooperation between Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and Al Maktoum Foundation on supporting the development projects being carried out by the Foundation in a number of African countries and others in areas of education, health, and digging of water wells.
He also lauded the role of the IDB in member states and Muslim communities.
Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Hajjar, President of the Islamic Development Bank Group, thanked Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid for his directives regarding the implementation of development projects in more than 45 countries worldwide, especially in Africa.
The IDB, with the membership of 56 states, works to upgrade the socio-economic development in member states and Muslim communities.
