The exchange rate of the US dollar rose around 100 piasters against the Egyptian pound in the country's four major banks at morning transactions on Sunday.
The US dollar recorded EGP 17.1 for buying and EGP 17.35 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt against EGP 16.00 for buying and EGP 16.25 for selling yesterday.
In Banque Misr today, it hit EGP 17.00 for buying and EGP 17.4 for selling versus yesterday’s EGP 16.00 for selling and EGP 16.25 for buying.
In Banque Du Caire, it hit EGP 17.1 for buying and EGP 17.4 for selling against EGP 16.00 for buying and EGP 16.25 on Saturday
