Governor of Central Bank of Egypt Tarek Amer said on Tuesday that full coordination was maintained between the CBE and the government with regard to the monetary, financial and economic policies which aim at serving the national economy through adopting an integrated and comprehensive reform program.
"There is a continued communication between Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and the government members and full coordination on all joint issues and files," Amer said in statements to MENA.
He denied reports fanned by some news websites on disagreements with some ministers. “All are working as one team at the service of Egypt.”
"The economic reform program is a result of cooperation between the government and the central bank," he pointed out.
