The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is hosting on August 15th, 2017 at 9 a.m. in Al Majlis Hall of Bait Al Tijjar an induction seminar on the GCC Conformity Assessment Scheme. The seminar will be held in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism and GCC Standardization Organization (GSO).
The seminar aims to raise awareness of the scheme which helps enforcing the implementation of Gulf standards, ensures consumers’ safety, streamlines the flow of goods among GCC member states, eliminates technical boundaries curbing trade, and invigorates the commercial and industrial sectors. Members of the chamber are invited to attend the seminar, and more details can be found on www.bcci.bh.
