Banque Misr signed a cooperation protocol with the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) on Thursday.
The protocol was co-inked by Board Chairman of Banque Misr Mohamed el Atribi and IDA Board Chairman Ahmed Mostafa Abdel Razeq.
The protocol calls for financing the establishment of industrial complexes and projects under study and informing the authority of the outcome of the studies in a period which does not exceed 15 days after receiving requests.
The move is part of the state's plan for economic development and its policies aimed at encouraging investment in the industrial fields and boosting the quality of local products.
The move is also meant to boost the small and medium-sized industrial enterprises and provide more job opportunities for youth
