Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), announced on Monday the expansion of the bank’s reach to more locations in the UAE with the opening of its 70th branch at Fujairah City Center bringing the number of ADIB branches in the Northern Emirates to 15 branches. The branch was inaugurated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, in the presence of Sameh Al Awadallah, Ali Al Shaqoush and other branch Managers who represented ADIB in this ceremony. The new branch will serve the growing footfalls in Fujairah City Centre, the first shopping, leisure and entertainment destination in Fujairah with 34,000 square meters of retail space. This latest addition to ADIB’s branch network demonstrates the bank’s commitment to reach out to its customers wherever they are, and to provide them with Islamic banking services to meet their needs. ADIB aims to enhance its on ground presence to keep pace with the continued growth of its customer base throughout their geographic distribution in the UAE. ADIB has set its sights on building one of the largest branch and ATM networks in the UAE, to provide all its customers with Islamic financial services that are simple and sensible, transparent, and Shari’a inspired. As the fastest growing bank in the UAE with a strong national customer base, it places emphasis on network expansion around its customers. It was ranked number one in Customer Service at the UAE Consumer Week by Ethos Consultancy in 2011.
