It's no secret, Google's Project Glass, the company's heads up display device has been getting a lot of attention recently. However, we have never got the chance to see what these glasses are capable of in the wild, until now. Google released a video via its Google+ social network platform of a video recorded by one of the project glasses device. While we would definitely see more of the other features, this was good enough and proved that Google is serious about getting these glasses on to the market as soon as possible. The video is of someone who is wearing the glasses on a trampoline jumping around and doing multiple backflips, we're quite impressed because not once did the glasses fall off, which speaks well for the design. The video is also quite crisp for something recorded by a pair of glasses, the best thing, the video is in 720p HD, which leaves us to wonder what is the megapixel count on the camera sensor. Apart from the video, Google posted images of co-founder Sergey Brin and others wearing Project Glass. The general response from the public was favorable; some even believe we are now in the future with these glasses. If you are gearing up to one day getting your hands on a Google Project Glass device, you might be in for a long wait as everything is far from ready for prime time. Google's Sergey Brin stated Project Glass devices "are not beta, these are not alpha; these are, you know, kind of rough off the lab floor." This could point to a 2013 price and release announcement. Hopefully it is all Google makes it out to be. Project Glass is Google's heads up display (HUD) that will do a lot of cool augmented reality display stuff. The software behind it is based on a version of Android and should be able to work in conjunction with your Android smartphone or tablet device.
