Google Sweden said its top searches for 2011 include Facebook, YouTube, Justin Bieber and pancakes. Jonas Wallentin, head analyst for Google Sweden, said the overall top five Web searches of the year were Facebook, YouTube, newspaper Aftonbladet, market site blocket.se and Hotmail, The Local reported Thursday. Wallentin said Swedish singer Eric Saade was the top celebrity search of the year, followed by last year's top celebrity, Justin Bieber. The analyst said there was a spike in searches for the Low Carb High Fat diet, but there were also many searches for unhealthy foods including pancakes, apple pie, cupcakes, macaroons and rhubarb pie. Wallentin said there were also many searches related to current events, including the Arab spring, Japan's Fukushima nuclear accident, the killing of Osama bin Laden and the Norwegian massacre carried out by Anders Behring Breivik.
