The Fourth International Conference on the Various Fields of Science selected four Kuwaiti research papers for the electronic booklet to be distributed among the Arab universities.
The researches were compiled by Dr. Abdullah Sahar, Dr. Jassem Al-Tamar, Dr. Salwa Al-Jassar and Dr. Sana' Al-Asfour, said CEO of the conference Dr. Nabah Tarboush in a statement to KUNA following the activities of the first day of the event.
The four Kuwaiti researches are among 98 internationally-recognized ones which were selected out of 117 researches presented to the conference; they will serve as references at the students and academics around the world, she said.
The conference honored 13 Qatari scientific celebrities for their academic excellence and their achievements in realizing Qatar's National Vision 2030, she went on.
Among the event's guests of honor are President of the International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO) and advisor to the Amiri Diwan Dr. Abdullah Al-Maatouq, and Honorary President of Kuwait Disabled Sport Club Sheikha Sheikha Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah.
The conference, themed "scientific research - the cornerstone of sustainable development in the digital age," opened earlier today under auspices of Qatari Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulwahed Al-Hamadi and in the presence of Kuwait Ambassador to Qatar Met'eb Al-Mutawteh.
It is organized by the London-based Social Research and Consulting Center in cooperation with the Social Containment Consulting Center in Qatar.
