The Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, an independent, research-driven graduate-level institution specialising in advanced energy and sustainable technologies, is showcasing its research activities at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, ADIPEC, 2016.
The institute is presenting its research contributions that help enhance the UAE’s oil and gas exploration and recovery activities. Many of its faculty members are also acting as judges on various panels.
The event is being held from 7th to 10th November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC, under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
ADIPEC connects decision-makers with technical experts, innovators, and thought leaders, to serve as a catalyst for new ideas, policies and technologies that drive energy sector progress.
"Masdar Institute is committed to advancing and developing the UAE’s innovation ecosystem, which includes providing panel experts, judges and research participants in technical events like ADIPEC. In particular, many of research projects aim to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the UAE’s oil exploration and recovery techniques, which is a critical part of the UAE’s transition to a sustainable knowledge economy," said Dr. Behjat Al Yousuf, Interim Provost at Masdar Institute.
