Kuwait Science Club (KSC) honored farmer Nasser Al-Azmi, the owner of a 100,000-sidra tree seedlings project, in recognition of his contribution to afforestation in the country.
The honoring ceremony was attended by KSC Secretary-General Ali-Khathem Al-Jomaa, and KSC director for bees researches Waleed Al-Mullah, besides the club members.
The honoring of farmer Nasser Al-Azmi came in gratitude to his distinguished project of distributing 100,000 sidra tree seedlings for free, in order to be planted in various parts of the country, Al-Jomaa said.
KSC will cooperate with Al-Azmi in the future on that matter, and will organize training courses in the field of agriculture, besides opening a new department for hydroponics.
