EMPC head: Coordination underway with Nilesat to activate backup system

Chairman of the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) Osama Heikal said on Thursday that coordination is underway with the Nilesat Company to activate the 'backup system' in the media city.
"This will help the affected TV channels to transmit via the satellite till electricity is back to normal," Heikal said.
He added that he contacted the electricity ministry and a number of companies to provide the EMPC with power generators.
