Egypt mulls the application of a modern European technology for ditching pollution in agricultural and industrial sewage and canals.
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab had talks on Thursday in this regard with the minister of scientific research and representatives from the ministries of housing and military production as well as the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
The meeting tackled means of applying this technology to one of the Delta canals as a trial to stand on its positive perspectives.
The meeting also tackled means of renovating current water treatment stations in addition to establishing a new station with integrated energy.
Mahlab had set a timetable for accomplishing the projects tackled during the meeting.
