Egypt and India on Tuesday signed an executive program for cooperation in the fields of science and technology.
Egypt's Scientific Research Minister Sherif Hamad and India's Ambassador in Cairo Navdab Seurat attended the signing at the ministry's HQ in Cairo.
The program is scheduled to cover the period between 2015 and 2018, and focuses on cooperation in the biotechnology's most important sectors.
The two sides will carry out joint projects in the fields of research and development, work to exchange visits between their scholars and organize training programs, conferences and scientific workshops during the program's period.
Before the event, the Indian ambassador met with the Scientific Research Minister and discussed the most prominent areas of cooperation between the two countries.
