Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, has launched its dedicated Partnership Portal at its Sustainable Building in Al Qouz in support of the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Dubai’s strategy to enhance and strengthen relationships with partners to achieve common strategic objectives.
The event was attended by Waleed Salman, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Development of DEWA, representatives of government organisations and DEWA’s partners and staff.
The Partnership Portal also complements DEWA’s efforts to support the Smart Dubai initiative, and its commitment to promote effective cooperation with all its partners.
The Partnership Portal is a new communication channel between DEWA and its partners. It expands DEWA’s scope of services to support its partners and achieve integration with other government departments and organisations in Dubai to enhance its services to the highest levels.
"The Partnership Portal supports our vision to become a sustainable world class utility as it enhances direct communication and quick responses with our partners and stakeholders and makes information and opportunities accessible to them," said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA.
Waleed Salman said, "DEWA works with all its partners and suppliers to achieve common objectives and ensure constant improvement and development." Participants at the event watched a presentation about the Partnership Portal and were given a tour of DEWA’s Sustainable Building. Representatives of government organisations on the occasion emphasised the importance of linking partners with government departments and organisations to provide excellent services.
