The Civil Service Bureau(CSB)'s online application has recorded more than 21,577 usage since last April.
The application was launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology, during his opening of the Bahrain International e-Government Forum/Exhibition 2014
Mohammed Hassan Al-Awadi, Director of Communications at CSB said that the number of usage of the application, reflects the achievements of the application with respect to the employees benefit, calling on those employees under CSB to benefit from the application
Al-Awadhi said that the application saves a lot of time, as its services are linked primarily to employees and its includes several features that allow government employees to benefit from CSB's online services , and also employees access to view and updates their own personal particulars such as contacts address, bank account number, salary slip and service certification. Also employees can view their accounts details saved previously.
He said that it was possible to load the application into the smart devices, that are running Android or iOS with appropriate size that does not consume a large area of the device memory, moreover CSB services are available on the national portal Bahrain.bh, which is witnessing a large turnout, where the rate of its usage was 490.339 in the period from June 2013 until June 2014, since it is one of the services that has a direct relevance to the needs of the employees.
Al-Awadhi praised the efforts of e-Government Authority (EGA) in providing online government services and the effective contribution in facilitating services provided to citizens.
