Samsung takes up 65% of world's Android market

Samsung Electronics Co., the world's No. 1 smartphone maker, took up more than half of the worldwide market for Android devices last month led by its flagship Galaxy S models, data showed Monday. The South Korean giant had 65 percent of the world's market for Android-powered devices in February, with the Galaxy S line-up taking up 30 percent, the data compiled by U.S. researcher Localytics showed.
