Taiwan smartphone maker HTC says it has "no intention" of settling its lawsuit with Apple following Apple's patent infringement victory over Samsung. Cher Wang, chairperson of HTC, made the comments to Digitimes and other Asia-based publications, CNET reported Wednesday. HTC "has great skills in innovation and has the confidence to face legal lawsuits with Apple," Digitimes quoted Wang as saying. HTC has been in a legal battle with Apple since March 2010 when Apple sued HTC over iPhone patents. HTC has also filed countersuits against Apple. Wang said the $1 billion jury verdict against Samsung Friday in the U.S. case "does not mean the failure of the entire Google Android ecosystem." HTC is reportedly ready to introduce at least three new models including the HTC One X+ with a 5-inch touch screen and support for 4G LTE.
