Mohamed Tayseer and Mona Al-Gammal
Cairo – Akram Ali
Finding the way can be very difficult in Egypt, even if you are local. That was the reason that urged Mohamed Tayseer to come up with a solution, which he called "We all want to go home". Tayseer first
studied all transport routes, helped by his wife Mona Al-Gammal, and then set up the website rawah.com, ‘go home’ in Arabic.
Tayseer, whose name means "to facilitate," has already started to promote his work on Facebook and Twitter, where it immediately had positive feedback by other users. Tayseer and his wife also participated in the "Start with Google" competition, where they got to the semi-final, together with 50 other projects.
Tayseer said that “the idea spread rapidly, and has become a solution to many problems". For this reason, his wife and he set up another website to answer people’s questions and offer a thorough map of transport routes. This new website will be launched in a few days.
