Young people are using their voice as global citizens to tell world leaders what needs to be done to make the world a better and safer place. Sijin Ojulu, a young girl originally from South Sudan, is a winner of the 2011 UN Citizens Ambassadors Video Contest, where young people pitch an idea to the Secretary-General of the UN that could change the world. Armed with the honorary title for the next two years, she wants to use the platform to help promote birth registration in poor countries. Sijin sat down with Gerry Adams to share her vision as well as the frustrations of the youth in getting their ideas across.
