Parents of a new born babies miss out on 1,456 hours of sleep in the first year of their baby's life, according to Pampers survey. The survey reveals that 9 out of 10 lose up to four hours kip because of crying offspring, and one in five of the 2,000 mothers and fathers quizzed said that their baby wakes in the night because of a wet nappy, hunger and teething, the Daily Express reported. One in three admitted that their baby sleeping through the night is one of the biggest first-year milestones, followed by the child's first word and first laugh. The survey also found that it is mothers who do most of putting the baby to bed, with just one in six couples sharing the responsibility. And nearly six in 10 seek the advice of their own mothers when it comes to how to get a baby to sleep. From : ANI
