Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, the Chairperson of Women Sports Committee also member of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC)'s board of directors, today leaves to Lausanne, Switzerland, to participate in the meeting of the International Olympic Committee (IOC)'s sportspeople's welfare committee.
The meeting will be chaired by Sergey Bubka, which will include a speech by IOC President Thomas Bach, followed by the speech of the committee chairman Sergey Bubka, familiarization with the new members, approval of the previous committee meetings, a discussion of anti-doping issues, a review of players' results in Rio Olympiad2016 and discussion of the recommendations, plus any other business.
Shaikha Hayat Al Khalifa has been chosen by the IOC as a member of the IOC's sportspeople's welfare committee as one of the leading effective leaders in the Olympic movement to work side by side with chosen group of Olympic champions, experts, coaches and sports professionals.
