The mother who appeared on the cover of Time magazine breast-feeding her three-year-old son says she didn't agree with the article and looks forward to correcting her message by posing again, this time with two sons. Jamie Lynne Grumet, 26, told America's ABC News the fallout from the Time cover left her sad and said it was not the picture she wanted. "Our intentions were to help relieve the stigma attached to breast-feeding past infancy," she said. "The photo I saw wasn't one that we were trying to pose for." Now, in an effort to set the record straight, Grumet is set to appear on the cover of 'Pathways to Family Wellness' breastfeeding her son alongside her husband and their adopted Ethiopian son. She said the new cover humanises the practice and explains it in a way that Time never did. In one of the new photos, Ms Grumet is pictured breastfeeding Aram, now four, with one breast and adopted son Samuel, five, with the other. She said there is nothing indecent about the article or the photographs. "That's just the ignorance of not understanding full-term breast-feeding and knowing that it's really normal in other cultures," she said. "It's just not normal here." (huffpost)
