Sahiti Gaddam, director of sales and marketing at Taj Dubai has worked in the luxury hotel segment for over 20 years. She is based out of Dubai and travels extensively due to her job.
Having started her career with Kempinski hotels, she worked with Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts for the next 14 years occupying various roles at property and group levels. This included the landmark Jumeirah Beach Hotel and at a more senior level the flagship, Burj Al Arab. Sahiti has successfully led several projects, including hotel pre-openings, re-branding, commercial re-positioning and even a hotel close down.
In the years, Sahiti has been with Taj Hotels & Resorts, successfully opening their signature property in the Middle East, Taj Dubai, located in Business Bay with stunning views of Burj Khalifa and the Downtown district.
She and her team established the hotel as the hotel of choice within key markets of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, India and Western Europe. In a short span of 20 months of its opening, the hotel has gained a reputation for warm service, vibrant award-winning dining concepts and a Tripadviser rank of 12.
Being a hotel management graduate from New Delhi, India and having completed development certification courses in Revenue and Leadership from the prestigious Cornell University, Sahiti is a believer in engaging and empowering teams, and harnessing individual strengths toward shared goals.
Having witnessed Dubai transform over the last few decades, and having contributed to that growth within the hotel sector, Sahiti believes that anything is possible, with a little bit of determination, planning and a vision.
Sahiti enjoys to travel with her husband and loves wildlife.
