The Arab League on Sunday warned of the violence against women in the Middle East due to the terror acts the region is experiencing.
The Pan-Arab organization made the remarks in a statement marking the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, from November 25 through December 10; Human Rights Day.
In the statement, the Arab League stressed its commitment to put an end to violence against women.
To this end, the pan-Arab organization is planning to host a regional conference to face violence against on the first of December.
The conference is meant to set up an anti-violence agreement against women at the regional level.
