H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, today received the Dean of Harvard Business School, Nitin Nohria, at his majlis.
They reviewed the state of higher education in the UAE and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination relations and exchange of expertise between Harvard University, in general, and higher education institutions in the country, as well as exchange of scholarships between the two sides.
Professor Nohria extended thank for the logistical support and facilitations provided by the Government of Dubai to the universities and technical colleges in Dubai.
Sheikh Maktoum confirmed the importance of enhancing research cooperation between the UAE educational institutions and Harvard Business School. He also noted that Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, gives more attention to research and studies sector, especially in medicine, health care, scientific innovation, alternative energy and the digital economy fields.
Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and other officials attended the meeting.
