President of Yarmouk University Abdullah Al-Musa on Thursday discussed with Indonesian Ambassador to Jordan Zane al-Bahr Nour means of boosting scientific and academic cooperation between the university and Indonesian educational institutions. Al-Musa presented a briefing on the university’s ties with Indonesian counterparts, expressing willingness to receive Indonesian students to study the Arabic language at the university. The envoy reviewed the terms of agreement between the Embassy and the university which state establishing a program to teach the Indonesian language. He hailed the university’s efforts and the distinctive academic level of its graduates, pointing to the possibility of collaborating in the preparation of curricula and plans for a new college specialized in economics and Islamic banks in Indonesia.
