The partnership agreement between “Mohamed Boudiaf” University of Sciences and Technology of Oran (USTO) and cement plant “Lafarge Algerie,” was renewed Monday in Oran.
Under this four-year agreement, renewed for the second time, a professional master in chemical engineering, material engineering, process engineering and civil engineering will be made available in September 2014, according to the agreement’s coordinator at USTO University.
About ten students will benefit from this master, said Kacimi Larbi, who presented in a ceremony, held at the university, the results of the bilateral cooperation.
For her part, Director of “Mohamed Boudiaf” University, Derdour Aicha, said that her establishment’s cooperation with “Lafarge Algerie” allowed the students to acquire knowledge that strengthen their training.
Luc Callebat, General Manager of "Lafarge Algerie," underlined that cooperation with USTO was prolific for three years and that this agreement allowed bringing the university closer to companies.
