The University of Bahrain (UoB) has conducted a new feasibility study to establish a Medical College, UoB President, Dr. Riyad Hamaza revealed.
Dr. Hamza asserted that the study would be submitted to the relevant sides, such as the Board of Trustees, adding that the executive plan of the project will be devised after its approval.
In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Dr. Hamza also said that UoB had approved its development plan for the next five years, explaining that the plan is based on restructuring UoB commensurate with the latest academic, administrative and technological developments.
The plan includes adding new academic courses, as well as the expansion of higher education studies regarding master's and doctoral degrees.
