Al Aoun Al Islamiya Mauritanian University Tuesday called for allowing its students to enroll in postgraduate studies in Egypt.
In a meeting with Director of the Egyptian Cultural Center in Nouakchott Ashraf AL Azazy, President of the Mauritanian University Mohamed Ould Amar said his university hopes that the Egyptian side helps Mauritanian students complete their post graduate studies at Egyptian universities by cancelling registration fees imposed on them.
He hailed great progress witnessed by the Egyptian university education, adding that the Al Aoun university seeks to sign a number of cooperation deals with various Egyptian universities.
For his part, Azazy said that the center is ready to boost relations between the Al Aoun university and different Egyptian universities in a way that serves the cultural and educational ties between the two countries.
