The Kuwait University (KU) has signed a contract worth KD 150 million to implement the buildings of colleges of Law, Social Sciences and Sharia and Islamic Studies in the Sabah Al-Salem University City.
Minister of Education Dr. Bader Al-Essa told reporters that the contract, which will be fulfilled within four years, constitutes a big step towards the completion of the city project, noting that the Sabah Al-Salem University City is part of Kuwait's development plan.
On his part, Dr. Abdul-Latif Al-Bader, the KU's president, said in a statement the first contract for the building of Faculty of Engineering was signed in 2011, reassuring that the project is being carried out as planned.
India's Shapoorji Pallonji company in collaboration with Kuwait's Saqer Trading & Contracting Company will implement the project, he said.
