His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Monday received a delegation from the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS), which included students from various world countries.
During the meeting held at Al Husainiah Palace, the King spoke about Jordan's stance and policies in dealing with various regional and global issues, according to Jordan News Agency, PETRA,.
He noted that fighting terrorism requires concerted regional and international efforts within a holistic approach.
King Abdullah also reviewed Jordan's challenges arising from regional crises, namely the Syrian crisis and the hosting of a large number of Syrian refugees.
The delegation, which comprises 18 students from 12 countries, commended the King's wisdom and vision in dealing with regional issues. They also praised Jordan's role in promoting global peace and stability.
