Shanghai classification for universities has put King Abdulaziz university in Jeddah among the best 201- 300 universities of the world, it was reported here today. The classification, which classified the university among the best 301-400 last year, has also put the university at advanced position in basic specializations as it has proceeded to the 32nd position worldwide in math and scored a new world record in chemistry as it ranked 51-75, a new international record in the field of engineering, technology and computers as it ranked 101 - 160 and a new world record in natural sciences and mathematics as it came 151-200.
