The Foreign Ministry organized Sunday a symposium for political study students in the Egyptian universities.
The symposium was organized in coordination with Al-Ahram Center for Political ans Strategic Studies, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.
The event was meant to brief the students on missions and activities carried out by the Ministry to protect the Egyptian interests and maintain the national security, he said.
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is keen on organizing the symposium within the framework of the general diplomacy program carried out by the ministry to communicate with universities and research centers in order to qualify youths wishing to start the diplomatic work, he said.
