Azhar University hailed on Sunday the outcome of the Egyptian Economic Development Conference (EEDC) and the Arab summit both held in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh.
In a statement, the university council described the EEDC as unprecedented in Egypt's modern history.
The high turnout in the EEDC is a great evidence that Egypt has restored its position in the world, the statement read.
The council urged all Egyptians to do their best and stand by the political leadership to reap the fruits of the EEDC projects.
Also, the council praised the outcome of the Arab Summit and efforts aiming to heal rifts and reunite Arab ranks to face challenges.
