Azhar University denied on Sunday claims saying that a sisterly country has provided the university with a financial grant.
The claims also said that every employee, worker and student at Al Azhar will receive 1,000 pounds from the grant.
In a press release, the university said such claims are groundless.
The statement added that these claims aim to ignite dispute between the university's staff and administration.
