Ajman University of Science and Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic cooperation with City University College of Ajman, following the conclusion of successful negotiations commenced early in November. Osama Saeed Salman, Vice-President AUST, and Imran Khan, CEO of CUCA signed the MoU today at Ajman University main campus. Mr. Osama Salman, stressed: "By integrating our educational efforts we shall sustain the pioneering position of Ajman in the educational arena, especially as the demand for education will witness an astounding era of boom in the forthcoming years". The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AUST and CUCA is to promote the exchange of visits and expertise between faculty members as well as student exchange programs. The MOU also provides for developing teaching, training and research between the two institutions through the organization of joint specialized workshops and conferences and delivery of joint training programs and lectures for the benefit of student communities in both campuses. Mr. Imran Khan, CEO, City University College of Ajman, CUCA expressed his appreciation for the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman, which has resulted in making the Emirates of Ajman a steadily growing destination in the field of higher education. With regards to this collaborative effort he also stated: "This would further support in attracting prospective students to the universities based in Ajman."
